You can also press Windows key +R , type regedit and enter.
2. Now, on the left pane, you will see "My computer" expansion key and its sub-labels. So, just navigate to following path:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SYSTEM \ CurrentControlSet \ Control \ StorageDevicePolicies
3. Double click the key "WriteProtect" in the right pane and set the value to 0 in the Value Data Box. Then, press OK button.
Tips:
To enable write protection, enter 1 in value Data Box.
To disable write protection, enter 0 in value Data Box.
4. Exit Registry and restart your computer. It's done. Now, your pen drive is no more restricted.
The next time you connect your USB to computer, it won't show Write Protection Message.
Now you can easily copy, paste, delete the files in USB and make alterations or modifications.
